Aiming to identify forces and processes that shape biodiversity, the CBioClima team documents the diversity, conservation and evolution of species, through new observation strategies in what became known as “Natural History: from genes to ecosystems” – a way to understand living organisms in their natural environment, on large spatial and temporal scales, based on technological and statistical advances.
