CBioClima (Center for Research in Biodiversity and Climate Change) held an extra activity for the Charles Darwin Seminars on Tuesday, the 15th, in Amphitheater II at Unesp in Rio Claro. Professor Dr. Raquel Esteban, from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, Spain), gave the lecture: “A scientific journey through isoprenoids: a tool to address global challenges”.
Teachers and students were able to learn a little more about the use of isoprenoids (organic compounds that perform biological, ecological and physiological functions in all organisms) as a tool to face the world's environmental challenges. We will soon publish a video of the entire activity on CBioClima's YouTube channel.
